This is me
My name is Viviana Dollenz and I was born in Punta Arenas, Chile. It's a beautiful small city in Chilean Patagonia.
I started learning English when I was six years old. I went to a bilingual school ("The British School") from 1st to 12th grade, that means, I learnt English and Spanish (my mother tongue) simultaneously.
During the last two years of high school I received different language certificates from the universities of Cambridge and Oxford. Later, when I was 18 years old, I started my studies at the university in Chile (Universidad Metropolitana de Ciencias de la Educación). I studied Educational Sciences and Pedagogy, with specialization in English. I finished my studies after 5 years and became a secondary school teacher. After I graduated, I started working as a teacher at "The British School" in Punta Arenas. I worked 2 years in Chile as an English and Spanish teacher until I came to Germany in 1998.
I started working in North Rhine-Westphalia teaching English and Spanish at different companies, as well as teaching children and teenagers. I've been working in Germany for 25 years, offering General and Business English courses and General and Business Spanish courses at different companies throughout the whole Ruhr area.
After these 25 years of experience teaching in Germany, I developed a method that contains 3 main points:
The lessons are directed towards the specific requirements of the participants.
Interesting and effective material that simplifies and motivates the participants to learn another language and/or improve it.
The material and the information used for the lessons has to be up-to-date.
All the experience that I've gained in these 25 years has allowed me to offer the participants high effectiveness and quality in my courses, associated with fun and creative activities.
